Raya 2010 Updates

Raya was great Alhamdulillah! Celebrated 1st 3 days of Syawal at Perak and off to Tanjung, KT on day 3. Day 5 we drove back to Kuantan. Managed to enjoy the sandy beach at Pantai Batu Hitam, cooking meal together w the sisters and visited zoo Teruntum with “No No No!” and family. All in all, priceless! But the best of all is the moment I entered Arwah Tok Pandak’s nostalgic house. The last time I was there was probably 10 years ago! Masya-Allah. Thanks to Tok Mat& Opah Cho for renovating the house and taking care of it. I’m looking forward to go back to kampong again insya-Allah. Mandi air telaga is 2nd to none. Alhamdulillah. Thank you Allah for the wonderful experience. *bliss*

Nadirah is 1!

Alhamdulillah. Allah panjangkan umur Nadirah, Mummy and Abi to see this day! May Allah give us many more years in Iman and great health to be together, Aminnn.

Sorry Nadirah, Mummy is too busy and have no time to update you super duper fast development! *sigh* Seminggu berlalu, Nadirah becomes a brand new Nadirah. Then another week past, another new Nadirah. Phew!

Birthday celebration? We had a small celebration at Kuantan on Sunday morning. Mummy and Abi have decided not to have a smashing birthday bash and settled with a small one, just with Wan. Birthday cake? Haha. We bought at Pasar Tani luar Stadium kat bandar.

Nadirah, your one-year-old-milestone is very very important to Mummy and Abi. So important that we've come out with "Birthday Resolution" just a few days before your big day. Here is our "Birthday Resolution":

Nadirah sayang,

Birthday is about giving, not receiving. As we grow a year older, Allah has given us the opportunity to see another year in Iman, in good health, lots of rezeki, happy family and bountiful of nikmat Allah. Mummy and Abi want you to 'celebrate' each new year of your life by giving 10 times more of your age. Why 10? No reason. It's just a number.

So for your 1st birthday, Mummy took out RM10 from your tabung and give it too those who are less fortunate in Rantau Panjang. You were there right sayang when MP Ust Zailah walked us through the whole story of the constituent. How difficult they are to survive from day to day without enough income. Sayang, our apartment is not spacious, but we have everything in the this place we call home. People in Rantau Panjang, some don't even have a roof! Let alone a Slumberland bed to sleep on. There is one family live under the pieces of zink of their burned down house. Ya Allah, Alhamdulillah for everything you have given us. Alhamdulillah.

Nadirah, even when Mummy and Abi are not around anymore, please remember to donate everytime Allah give you another year to see 17th January ok? And of course throughout the year too. Moga Allah give you a great barakah year, with iman ilmu and taqwa. Amin.

Raya Day 1

Assalamualaikum everyone.. this year is my first raya, alhamdulillah with Mummy and Abi and Wan at Kuantan. I'm wearing a 'designer' cat suit mummy bought online. She has no time to buy my baju raya. Even Mummy and Abi bought their baju raya a day before raya. Hoho.

Before going to KT, we singgah @ Aspa Cottage, AyahDe mertua's house. I was sleeping soundly with Fasihah.

Arrived KT around 5pm and this our room at Primula, KT. Nadirah's first experience sleeping in a hotel!

I poo in the car and my diaper leaked! Bushukkkk! Luckily we hv reached KT already when it leaked.

@ Surau in S3pri while waiting for Mummy

@ S3pri, I pumped trice daily. I should have done more but was too exhausted. Alhamdulillah the dining hall staff were very helpful and kind enuff to let me and another bf mom to store our milk in their freezer, in fact we were given a large empty compartment, just for milk!

Sungguh berbaloi beli wipes ni I tell yah! So practical and you can pump-on-the-go, provided having enuff clean, steriled bottles in hand. If you wanna buy Medela accessories at discounted price, I do recommend you guys to buy from Aja. I bought my FS from her and she sent it to Princ3 C0urt while I was confined there and let me used hers for demo! She's very helpful and the after service is excellent! Everytime ade masalah je, I text her and she never fails to text me back! First time [klutz] mom like me really needs an expert like her turn to whenever I'm stuck with bf dilemma. Hoho. @ wan's house

After the Bi.Ti.En ended on Monday, we headed straight to Kuantan to send Wan to her home sweet home. Next morning, we went back to KL and on our way home, I noticed that Nadirah's body was warm. We then brought her to a clinic nearby our apartment and guess what, she had a fever, 38.5 dC! Mummy was so terrified coz it was the first time she had a fever! Her body temp was never ever been that high before. Hoho. The whole day was spent tepid sponging her and let her slept/play wearing only her diaper. Wednesday morning, Abi balik Segamat, Nadirah a bit dedar dedar and Mummy went back to work {argh}.

Demamz Mode

On Friday, the fever strikes back. Lucky me, MrJ had some work to do in KL on Friday. Saturday night, nadirah was so cranky, xde mood, and her body was extremely hot. Her temp was 38.5 ++. We stayed up that night and regularly sponging her whole body, mandi, amik wudhu' and @ 3am, her temp still remained the same. The next thing I knew was I'm here again at Princ3 Court, 330 am in the morning with an oven-hot baby and a sleepy hubby. [he didn't sleep at all, Mummy ade curik2 ayam gaks]

Doctor on duty examined her, and inserted paracetamol tru her rectum. Then a bunch of friendly and bubbly nurses menggomol anakku and Nadirah crying out her lung looking at the unfamiliar faces trying to cool her down. Kesiyannnn giler.. After an hour, ktrg pun balik but she's still demammm, 38.5 dc. On Saturday, she's getting better and by Sunday morning, her temp was back to normal. Alhamdulillah.. Fuhh, what an experienced! Susah sungguh mak mak kite jager kiter dulu mase kecik. huhuh. Mak, akak sayanggggg sangat pada makk!! Terima kasih makk jage akak dulu dari rahim hingga sekarang. Mintak maaf mak kalau akak susahkan mak selalu.. :-* [my mom reads my blog ok]

To sum up:

1. I didn't update the blog for so long coz of S3pri project and baby was so unwell.
2. The aftermath of S3pri trip, Nadirah dah ok and not nippy confusion anymore, alhamdulillah. Prolly she's serik Mummy xde lame sgt sampai 5 hari, and she misses Mummy too much. These days, when she sees me wearing tudung, she starts crying suruh angkat adoiii. Takot Mummy tinggal la tu..

HnyB's 2nd Road Trip - Kuantan!

Day1: 1st May 09
Minggu lepas Abi and Mummy bawak nadirah gi rumah Wan kat Kubang Bu4ya. Ni gambar Nadirah sebelum bertolak, tgh breakfast jari Nadirah. Sedap gaks jari Nadirah rasa mcm strawberi.

Nadirah bawak Mama Pikok balik Kuantan. Dalam kereta Nadirah sembang2 dengan Mama Pikok sampai Nadirah tertido.

Sampai rumah Wan, nadirah mandi2 sbb panas. Pastu Mummy terus ajar mengaji. Tak sempat Nadirah nak rehat.

Dah penat belajar ngaji, Wan ajak gi Tg Lumpur nak makan kepok and otak2. Orang sgt ramai sampai habis semua otak2 kat kedai Mok Na. Last2 dapat makan satar je. Tp Nadirah x makan la. Tgk Mummy je makan.

Day 2: 2nd May 09

Hari kedua di Kuantan sangat best. Nadirah jumpe ibu, ayah, kakak and abang dekat Beserah. Abi and Mummy bawak Nadirah melawat Abg kat sekolah Tahfiz Abg. Name sekolah Abg Nadirah tak tahu. Nadirah kan kecik lg, mane tahu..Ibu Ayah ambil Abg bawak balik outing. Kami singgah dekat Pantai Batu Hitam utk lunch picnic. Best sgt. First time Nadirah tgk laut and duduk tepi pantai. Nadirah suka sgt..

Kuantan, his home is...

We had a long weekend in Kuantan. Since Monday and Tuesday are public holiday for Mr J (Johor) so I took a day off on Tuesday. 4 days to spent with hubby! Huyeah. Saturday morning, we headed back to Kuantan and arrived safely around 1pm. We then went to kenduri kawen Cikgu Saodah's (Cikgu mengaji MrJ mase kecik2) nephew. Father of the groom was MrJ's bedmate while they were in Mina last year and Mok (MrJ's mom) taught the groom Science when he was in Form 1 at Sm4rt. What a small world!

Balik, after rehat2, me, mok and MrJ went to Teluk Chemped4k. Minum air kelapa (nyum2) and main layang2 with MrJ. Romantis gitu. Hehe. Bought 3 more kelapa muda coz Mok wanna teach me how to make coconut pudding.

After magrib, went to Masjid Al-Hidayah, performed Solat Isya' and had our dinner there. Ade makan2. A day full of free food!

Sunday, (Merdeka Day! but honestly none of us were in the celebration mood) me n mok made pancake for breakfast. Yummy! MrJ still guling2 while we were busy in the kitchen. Hoho. We had our lunch at ADUN Inder4 M4hkota's house. (free food again!) His wife, Dr D4na is a dentist and she runs a private clinic in Kuantan. I visited her once to whiten (or should I put it as to thinning) my teeth. Anyway, the food was scrumptious!! Dr D4na baked a choc-cake which hv our Jalur Gemilang icing on it.

Stop here first, need to solat.

Later that afternoon, Aisyah (MrJ's brother's daughter) dtg. Cute giler budak kecik sorang ni mcm org Japon, lame dah x jumpe. She'll turn 1-year-old on 5th sept, same as Seth HQ (Lana's son). If Seth likes anime, he should seriously consider Aisyah as potential 'ehem'. Unfortunately I forgot to snap her pictures. Aiseh. Petang tu, lg ramai pulak org datang rumah, K Liza sebelah rumah and her hubby, Mama Pis4 and Papanye, so meriah la. Dah nak magrib baru semua dispersed. After magrib prayer, the 6 of us (together with Aisyah and her parents) went to Masjid Negeri for Isya' and tarawikh prayer.

Berakhirlah sudah Rejab, bermulalah Ramadhan...

Monday, me and mom baked apple cake, then MrJ and I cooked ayam goreng berempah and sayur for berbuke while mok masak kari ayam. Sedap2. Aisyah and parents berbuke at Asp4 Cottage, rumah Tok diye.

Tuesday morning, hubbyB and I went back to KL by bus. MrJ ade kerje at Kerteh the very next day so he stayed.

That's all folk. This is the first ramadhan with hunnyB and 2nd one with MrJ.
