Epoi, can you get this book for K Nyah please?
"Professor Plant courageously tells a compelling and very personal story on breast cancer that is a must-read, not only for women interested in this disease but also for the scientific and medical communities, who should sit up and take notice. It is time that the long-alleged nutritional worthiness of dairy be brought up for discussion."
--T. Colin Campbell, Ph.D., Jacob Gould Schurman Professor of Nutritional Biochemistry at Cornell University, project director of the China-Oxford-Cornell Diet and Health Project, joint chairman of the Diet and Cancer Project of the American Institute for Cancer Research, and co-chairman of the World Cancer Research Fund.
"This important, provocative book by an impressive author cannot be ignored. Through this breathtaking personal odyssey, Jane Plant forces us all to think differently about the causes of breast cancer. Indispensable reading."
--Devra Lee Davis, Ph.D., M.P.H., Clinton Administration appointee to the National Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board, visiting professor, Carnegie Mellon University
"Dr. Jane Plant provides a much-needed challenge to the conventional paradigm in dealing with the epidemic of breast cancer. This authoritative, well-researched but easily read text finally provides a focus on the powerful science of disease prevention. Here are the tools allowing women the ability to reduce their risk."
--David Perlmutter, M.D., director of the Permutter Health Center, Naples, Florida
"[This book] should be read by every...woman wishing to avoid breast cancer and to live life to her fullest potential. The book is well documented and easy to read. Your doctor should be recommending it to you."

sbb ada ayat in al-quran "and verily, in the cattle, there is a lesson for you. We give you to drink of that which is in their bellies, from between excretions and blood, pure milk; palatable to the drinkers" surah an-nahl: verse 66
wallahualam
Ha, good point! The translation in Malay:
"Dan sesungguhnya pada binatang ternak itu benar-benar terdapat pelajaran bagi kamu. Kami memberimu minum daripada apa yang berada dalam perutnya (berupa) susu yang bersih antara tahi dan darah, yang mudah ditelan bagi orang-orang yang meminumnya."
QS. an-Nahl (16) : 66
Binatang ternak. As we know para Anbiya' semua penternak kambing. From what I've read, susu is part of pemakanan Rasulullah and the susu referred to susu kambing sahaja, not susu lembu. And ada hadith on susu kambing (I heard on IKIM), but need further verification. So for our family, we tried to reduce dairy except susu kambing. We heart goat's milk! Susu kambing is alkali, susu lembu is acidic. And so many reference said on the goodness of susu kambing.
From my research, the major problem with dairy is specifically those produced using cow's milk. Read here, it's long but worth reading if you got time in between doing your phD. Hehe.

Anyway, your life in your hands ;-)
Thanks Elly for the constructive point! It makes me semangat nak search some more! :-)
Ops, ade tambahan, as for my mom's diet suggested by many of her cancer friends, CACARE and RAOHA, all recommending her to eliminate dairy at all cost.
Except that at RAOHA, susu kambing is allowed.
Except for her surgeon, semua boleh makan. No pantang2. Eat whatever you want.
Wallahualam.
:-)
Berdoalah pada Allah makanan yang kita makan bioleh menyihatkan badan utk beribadah bukan memudaratkan. Aminn..
