Vaccination

Vaccination.

It's a very controversial subject. At first, I don't feel like blogging about it. But since not many mommies are aware of the effect of vaccination, I just play my role as a health ranger like Mike Adam does (he does a fantabulousss job! Find some time to read his web, very informative!) Education, not medication! Yeah, that's what we gonna do!

During my early primary school years, when the troop of nurses from Kementerian Kesihatan came to inject us, my mom normally sign in the Parents Consent form for Vaccination "Tidak memperakukan" because I was afraid of the needles. Then only I knew (last year) that my mom didn't allow Epoi to get a single jab when he was little. At that time (early 90s) people were not aware and thought that whatever came out of the horses mouths are correct, so mak faced some difficulties with his school when she was asked whether the injections were done or not.

The situation doesn't change much now. After giving birth, first thing first, you'll be given a vaccination appointment book for your baby. (that's what PCMC does) After 2-3 months, another check-up, and the infant is injected and the series of injections or so called vaccination continue for the next only-God-knows-how-many-months/years.

I wasn't aware about vaccination scheme until I was pregnant. About 2 weeks before Nadirah was born, I got to know up close and personal with Ibu. She was a staff-nurse @ Pusrawi. From her I learnt a lot about vaccination and what to do about it. Thank you Allah for giving me the infos through a stranger that later becomes like a big sister to me.

Anyway, I do not wish to make any conclusion here. I just want to educate not conclude. I'm sure brilliant parents out there know what is best for their children. I found a sound article on this issue that worth reading. In your journey of finding the real truth, you may encounter with term like "Quackery" or "quackers" which normally refers to holistic/naturopthy therapist/healer. It's high time for us to find out who the real quackers are!

The article is long so I've selected the last 2 chunks of it. Read further here. And to read further details of vaccination from the Authors website, click here.

Why Vaccines Cause Diseases

Our body is equipped with an immune system. The immune system I am referring to is not just helper cells and anti-bodies, we have several lines of defense against infection and illness. We have saliva that is full of germs, and we have skin to protect our organs. We have a liver and kidneys to cleanse our blood and excrete toxic waste. We have our lungs to take in fuel, and excrete the waste of cellular metabolism.

In order to make a vaccine, one needs to render the virus, or germ, ineffective and find a way to introduce it into the body. In order to make many batches of this virus for injection, the virus needs food to grow off of. To grow a vaccine virus, the virus is cultured on a variety of nutrient rich substances; like monkey kidney cells, aborted human fetuses, calf serum, guinea pig embryonic tissue, fetal tissue, and other foul things. Once you have this large batch of "disease," and you can imagine how sick and putrid this mix is, you need to remove all the impurities and isolate the virus (or germ) that you want to inject into someone. Now isolating just the virus from this milieu is impossible. Yet we try anyway, we bleach and cleanse the serum and get mostly the virus, plus many contaminants. Now, when the body gets injected with this virus, it will immediately seek to repel it, especially since it is rare for a disease to be introduced into the body directly through the blood stream. Vaccine creators had to find ways to keep the altered virus or germ from being immediately repelled from the body, and this is one purpose of adjuvants, vaccine additives.

Every vaccine contains MSG as one such additive; other vaccine additives include, thimerosal which is mercury, antibiotics, anti-freeze and other poisonous and acidic compounds.

Now imagine your helpless infant. They hardly have an immune system as their bodies' lines of defenses. Their organs are still growing and forming. It is our public policy to inject infants soon after birth, directly with a syringe full of foreign substances. The injection dosage is not carefully measured to be specific to the exact body weight of the infant, and the dose has never been independently screened to be free of contaminants. Immediately after the injection, the body goes into life saving procedures. If you have a healthy and robust child, you will be lucky to get away with a cold or flu-like symptoms, as your child's body tries to excrete all of the impurities just injected through its organs of purification: such as the kidney's, the liver, and the skin. If you have a less robust child, their body's defense mechanisms can fail one after the next, especially after repeated injections. When the body's internal purifiers fail, the blood-brain barrier becomes compromised; that is why a known side effect to vaccines is a high-pitched screaming. The screaming is the nervous system of an infant being damaged and breached as it was never meant to be. Many children are autistic because of vaccinations as the toxic poisons in the vaccines get lodged into places that can alter and affect the nervous system; including brain and spinal column development.

Dr. Albert Sabien, developer of the oral polio vaccine, has changed his vaccine position widely. In a 1995 lecture, he said, "Official data have shown that the large-scale vaccinations undertaken in the US have failed to obtain any significant improvement of the diseases against which they were supposed to provide protection."

With this in mind, we have before us one of the most horrific, disturbing, and incompressible crimes ever committed. Each and every day, thousands of parents along with local and state governments, schools, doctors and politicians, allow this crime, and even promote this crime, as it continues to go unnoticed by the masses.

Let me add one final note to this article. You may have heard of these supposedly great humanitarian organizations going into the third world and providing community service by vaccinating poor children against diseases. Given your new awareness about the lack of evidence of vaccine efficacy, you might wonder what these organizations are really doing? This is what the World Health Organization asked themselves in an internal review, after noticing that an AIDS epidemic seemed to follow where they were vaccinating.

Vaccines in the Third World

On May 11, 1987, The London Times, one of the world's most respected newspapers, published an explosive article entitled 'Smallpox Vaccine Triggered AIDS Virus'. The story suggested the smallpox eradication vaccine program sponsored by the World Health Organization was responsible for unleashing AIDS in Africa. Almost 100 million Africans living in central Africa were inoculated by the WHO
(www.conspiracyplanet.com/channel.cf...) .

In Dr. Campbell Douglas's 1987 report titled 'W.H.O Murdered Africa' he writes that, "There is no question mark after the title of this article because the title is not a question. It's a declarative statement." (www.biblebelievers.org.au/who.htm)

Wangari Maathai, the first African woman to win Nobel Peace Prize claims, what is a common belief in some parts of Africa, that, "In fact it (the HIV virus) is created by a scientist for biological warfare."

Kihura Nkuba spoke about Polio vaccine genocide in Uganda. "At the main hospital in Mbarara during that month of 1977 more than 600 children had died following polio vaccination. 600 children! So even some of the timid medical practitioners who were initially afraid to come out, started coming out giving information and saying 'Oh, we knew this oral polio vaccine was trouble because as soon as the child receives it, they get a temperature and their health goes downhill and there is nothing that you could do.'" (www.whale.to/a/nkuba.htm)

You need to know why you have been led so far from the path of truth. You need to know that when you see media reports that promote the good of vaccines and their effectiveness, such as news or television reports, that these reports are completely fake and fabricated.

This leads me to the conclusion that some of the most powerful forces are at play, since they can easily and freely put manipulative and false material into the public's eye.

Healthy children come from healthy parents who eat whole and unrefined organic foods, who avoid processed foods like pasteurized milk, processed sugar, cheap vegetable oils, infant formulas, and processed flour products that are so prevalent in our food supply.

If you want your child to be healthy and disease free, do not give them a polluted body. Do not violate the purity of your child's blood.

Loving our children means not giving them vaccinations and it means that we need to inform other parents as well that vaccines are indeed shown and proven to be deadly.

Spread the word and do your part in ending this heinous crime.

"The greatest lie ever told is that vaccines are safe and effective," and now you know why.

May you and your children experience peace and happiness beyond vaccines.

Are you sane?

Indeed I am. Alhamdulillah.

I know many would think that I'm out of my mind for preventing my mom from doing chemo and undergo the standard cancer treatment (package, 3 in 1) at the UH. In actual fact, my mom doesn't want to do it in the first place. Then only I do my research and still on going. Mak actually has seen a living example of her niece (my cousin) who were suffering from colon cancer way back in 2005 if I'm not mistaken. She's a young mother, a cheerful teacher, very humble, warm-hearted and always wears her bright smile. Yong Muna. I still remember my summer vacation to her house in Kelantan and that was my last.

Mak treated her sister's (Yan) children like her own. When Yong was bed-ridden in KB hospital undergoing chemotherapy, mak came all the way from Perak to give her morale support and at the same time to boost up Yan's spirit. Mak has seen with her own pairs of eyes how Yong was in pain when the chemo drug was injected into her body. She kept on saying, "Panas Maksu..panass.." At one point she cannot take it anymore and the doctor has to stop the drugs from flowing in her body. She passed away few months after my abah, a surprised to many because abah was physically healthy.

Mak has experienced the chemo mentally and she refused to endure it physically. That's her personal choice and we are with her, rain or shine. Insya-Allah.

My word of advice, read. Resources are bountiful. You just need to choose trusted ones and try to position yourself outside of the box. Insya-Allah you'll find the answer. At the same time, seek for Allah's help to show us the right path. Semua ini janji Allah.

Thanks to all dear friends who has been calling and texting me all the week. I really appreciate your support, thoughts and prayers. Hanya Allah yang mampu membalas :-)

Finale: The Oncologist (III)

...Read this entry first if you haven't before proceed to this one.

The doctor went out for her boss.

5 minutes later, THE ONCOLOGIST stormed inside the room. With the doctor too. Suspend..suspend..
(from what I understood, the 1st doctor we met is not an oncologist, probably MD doing Masters in Oncology, I assume)

SCARY! That's the only word I can described about her.

Why? She's been in and out of our room seeing the nurses/docs and asked them questions in an angry manner. The first time she 'terjah' inside our room and heard her talking to the bunch of docs, I was so relived that we didn't see her.

From what I understood she was stressed because she has to cover an absent Oncologist. Wallahualam.

But that was then. Now she's attending us. She's the boss the previous doctor was looking after.
Erk.

The O (bercakap dengan nada memujuk), "Makcik, kenapa makcik taknak buat chemo? Chemo ok makcik. Makcik mana ada tua lagi, baru 56 tahun. Makcik, 76% peluang untuk hidup lebih 10 tahun kalau buat chemo. Ni bukan paksa ya, tapi saya nak makcik buat chemo dulu, lepas tu radio dan hormon 5 tahun. Lagipun cancer makcik dah Stage 2B, dah merebak kat lymp nodes. Ni (refer to Lab report) kata dah 6 dari 15 lymph nodes makcik buang hari tu dah ada cancer. Kalau tak buat chemo, cancer ni boleh merebak ke tempat lain" (Taktik menakutkan patient telah digunakan dalam seminit pertama consult patient..mcm mana la tak penuh bilik chemo tu aku tengok, semua dah ketakutan, courtesy of their own Oncologist...)

"Kalau makcik umur 80 tahun, ye laa dah tua. Kalau patient umur 80 tahun, kami pun tak bagi chemo. 80 tahun kan, dah lama hidup, ok la tu. (Oh aku sakit hati dengar this part, it's like them who dictate who should live and who should die!) Ni makcik baru 56 tahun. Boleh hidup lama lagi ni. Makcik kerja lagi ke?"

"Haah, cikgu," I said.

"Ha, ok tu. Kami boleh bagi ubat {READ: TOXIC CHEMO DRUGS. Sumpah dia tak mention the word drugs at all. AT ALL ok!} yang lagi bagus untuk makcik."
(Sbb mak buat chemo kerajaan yang bayar, so they can fork out the money from government and give mak more expensive chemo drugs)

"Chances survive lagi tinggi by 4% makcik."
(aku sudah mahu muntah when she said this. 4% increment only?! This is what happened when MDs quoted numbers given by Pharma companies, the % are relative numbers, not absolute numbers, to know more how these companies get the numbers, ask dr-google or read Healing Cancer Inside Out book by Mike Anderson, page-12&13. Ok, ralat: Not all MDs believe the feeble numbers fed by the giant Pharma companies. Thanks to many2 MDs around the world who speak up and educate layman like me by writing books/blogs on frauds that linger in Medical Society)

"Makcik, dalam Oncology ni 4% increase ni be-saaaarrrrr.
(she stressed the word be-saaarrr. I puked.)

"Makcik buat chemo 6 kali je. 3 kali yang pertama government cover, lagi 3 makcik bayar dulu. Takpe nanti boleh claim. Memang sakit sikit la awal2 tu tapi tak pe nanti makcik boleh claim semula."
(Ingat cakap sakit sbb sakit chemo, rupanya sebab kena bayar)

After she finished ‘pungpangpungpang’, I took the podium and said, “Back to what you’ve said earlier; doctor kata bukan paksaan kan? (to do chemo, radio etc)." The O didn't look at me. But she was about to say something but the word stuck at her kerongkong.

Aku sambung, "Ok, saya faham, cadangan doktor for the best interest of the patient," I'm almost lost in my own words.

Suddenly the room were full with people and I don’t know where the came from. All eyes were on me except for the O. The O stared at papers on the table.

"Ok doctor, macam ni..Mak has discussed with her anak-anak. We agreed not to do chemo. What ever the consequences are, kami akan tanggung bersama. At the end of the day, semua org akan mati. Everybody will die. My mom chooses to have a peaceful death. Itu pilihan mak. Hope doctor can consider her choice, patient’s choice. Jadi mak saya tak nak buat chemo, so can you prescribe her Tamoxifen instead?”

The oncologist senyap, and then angguk. “Ok, boleh. Tapi kalau lepas ni berlaku apa2 pada makcik, makcik jangan salahkan hospital pulak ye.."

"Tamoxifen is not as effective as chemo. Less than 50% success rate.” (You think my mom will swallow the Tamoxifen? Come on...Muka dia sungguh tak puas hati but I'm glad she said OK. Alhamdulillah)

“Ok2. Kami tak salahkan hospital,” I was overjoyed hearing her said that. Mak tersenyum lega.

The O, "Ok, saya bagi hormon untuk 3 bulan, lepas 3 bulan datang semula untuk check-up ok."

To cut the story short, mak was given MC for another 3 months.

Soon we left the room, kami anak beranak berpelukan depan pintu. Terharu. Masya-Allah. Alhamdulillah. Allah selamatkan mak from the death sentence from the O. Allah makhbulkan doa mak, doa Yan&KakSu yang baru balik Umrah last Sunday, doa Imah Epoi dan doa semua yang berdoa. Alhamdulillah. Tak terkata perasaan masa tu.

"Akak pun tak tahu dari mana kekuatan datang nak cakap mcm tu mak. Doa mak ni.." I said and we walked out of the Oncology Unit.

That very day, I’ve made my mom really proud.

Alhamdulillah.

*Disclaimer: Aku bukan anti-doctor, medical establishment, medical students, my brother Epoi who is studying medicine, my specialist-SILs, etc. Some medical intervention in curing diseases are crucial, nonetheless, current practices in the lucrative-cancer-industry are truly barbarian. I can't let my mom be a victim. Would you? Wallahualam. Hanya Allah Maha Mengetahui.

Amin Ya Rabbal 'Alamin.

The truth is out there...

Patrick Swayze's death came as a shock to many people. But not to his own cancer doctor: They know that the five-year survival rates of people being treated with chemotherapy for pancreatic cancer are virtually zero. And Swayze was only the latest in a long list of celebrities dying after being treated with chemotherapy and other toxic forms of western medicine:

Farrah Fawcett died following chemotherapy used to treat anal cancer and liver cancer:

Famed newscaster Peter Jennings died from chemotherapy treatments for lung cancer.

Former White House press secretary Tony Snow died after receiving chemotherapy for colon cancer.

Celebrities still battling Cancer

Desperate Housewives actress Kathry Joosten is currently battling lung cancer. It's not clear whether she has undergone chemotherapy yet, or plans to, but she did have cancer surgery in 2001 which obviously didn't "cure" the cancer because it has now returned.

Apple Computer CEO Steve Jobs looks deathly ill after undergoing not only chemotherapy but also a complicated cancer surgery that removed a part of his pancreas and digestive tract.

Sheryl Crow is battling breast cancer, but she famously decided to support her immune system with natural medicine by turning to a Traditional Chinese Medicine wellness center called Tao of Wellness (http://www.taoofwellness.com). No doubt her outcome will be vastly improved by this integrative approach. Unfortunately, her hubby Lance Armstrong is more into the conventional drugs-and-chemo approach, and most people probably don't realize the two things that saved Armstrong's life were intense exercise and regular exposure to sunshine during his cycling training (creating vitamin D, a powerful anti-cancer nutrient). (And wearing those little yellow Livestrong bracelets only tags you as being completely brainwashed about cancer and the cancer industry.)

Weekend of book lovers

Long weekend! Can't wait. We're not going anywhere except to wedding Alip tomorrow insya-Allah and just anywhere around 20km radius from Jasmine, @ most.

For book lovers , weekend is the best time to be a couch potato or snuggle under the duvet and read the endless books on the shelf. No. Not really. A mother cum book lover can't do that. Kene curik2 mase coz on weekend the baby will ask Mummy, "Me or the Book?"

Fuh. Anyway, I plan to do a lot of reading over the weekend, insya-Allah.

The books on queue are:

After reading Prof Kamil best seller, Travelog Haji: Mengubah Sempadan Iman, we decided to get this book. Honestly, the THMSI touches me in many ways. And MrJ too. It's like bringing us back to the HolyLand Makkah and flashes the unforgettable memory while we were there, but in a different way. What makes me hook with the book is the way Prof describes his experience and relates that with his past and his strong will to change himself for the better. Sungguh mencabar iman, menyentuh hati dan mengusik perasaan. His sincerity in his words is the prime mover that makes the book a best-seller. Must read for all, especially those who are planning to perform umrah/haj, read it before you go. A great gift for those who just came back from Hajj too.

My new IM emailed me the .pdf version of this 291-pages book (below). I just started this morning and stopped at page-4. I'm dead! Will try to cover at least the first 2 chapters before he questioned my reading speed. The book is extremely interesting. If there's a Master course on Power System Economics in Malaysia, I would die to do it. Adekah?

Last but not least, the book that is still pending for many weeks:

Keajaiban Thibbun Nabawi. Yummehhh! Borrowed the book from Dr Tum. Have to finish it asap. Interesting interesting..

Okeh, itu je dulu. Jgn tamak. :-) I've finished reading "What you need to know about.." (cancer book) the night before seeing the oncologist and now the book is with my IM. We exhanged books. Hoho. He's interested with cancer thingy and in fact want one of his children to be cancer expert. Hoho. I hope Epoi will be one too, ye Epoi?

Mari kita membacaaa!

Have a great weekend everyone!

The Oncologist (II)

Was busy at the office these few days. And P1w1max buat hall for many2 days. It's like impossible to get a connection at home these days. Mesti POTONG!

Anyway, the day before was my mom’s first visit to the oncologist. 2 doctors tried to convince my mom to do Chemo + Radio + and finally Tamoxifen (hormone). I was fidgeting like cacing kepanasan. That’s not what she wants. I wasn’t seated in the room coz I know I need to get the strength somewhere to counter back what the oncologist will say. I have the feeling that chemo will be the solution and only solution they will offer.

Ok, the actual scene in the room is like this. Rewind.

We entered the room. The doctor examined the stitches for 30 seconds. 30 seconds later, the doc said, "Ok makcik, rawatan selepas ni makcik buat chemo, radio dan makan hormon ye."

I was like.. WTH? Gugur terus jantung dan paru2ku ke lantai hospital. Result from pathology lab pun x explain, dah nak kill the patient by 'prescribing' {read:torture} the BARBARIC treatment.

My mom was quiet. Mcm malaikat lalu. "The doc asked, nape makcik? Makcik taknak chemo ke?"

Mak, "Taknak."

Doc, "Kenapa makcik..?"

Mak, "Makcik dah tua. Takpayahla buat chemo.."

Doc, "Makcik mana tua lagi. Baru 56 tahun. Muda lagi ni makcik.."

I tried to buy some time {plus xpuas hati why she didn't explain the result from path lab, ingat org kampung tak paham medical term ke?} and ask, "Doc, could you please explain the result from Pathology Lab?"

The Doc explained and probably she finally realized that anak makcik can sopik English, clever ni. Cannot kelentong one.

Me, "Doctor, can we do the other way round. Bagi mak makan hormone (Tamoxifen) . We do blood test first and monitor the CA Marker (after taking the hormone). Boleh?"

Doc, "Hmm..Boleh." Then 0.05 milisecond later menyambung, "Hmm..jap ye. Saya kene tanya boss saya dulu.."

Bersambung...

The Oncologist

Today I'll be taking half-day (PM) as today is a very important day. It's mak's first visit to the Breast Care Clinic (BCC) at UH and meet the Oncologist.

After reading dozens of infos on chemotherapy, radiotherapy and Tamoxifen (hormon) treatment for breast cancer, I just can't wait for this day to come. I want to see the face of the person whose profession is strongly uphold the benefit of using the orthodox ways to treat cancer : chemotherapy & radiotherapy and Tamoxifen &co.

Read here and here to get some ideas about cancer treatment. If you care.

Anyway, here is an interesting survey.

The Oncologists Credo: Do as I Say, Not as I Do.

In the new issue of Nature Medicine, it was mentioned that over 400,000 people in the U.S. alone are treated with chemotherapy every year. Yet, in a famous survey of 64 oncologists at the McGill Cancer Center in Montreal, 58 of them—more than 90%—said that if they or their family members had cancer, there was no chemotherapy program that they would undergo. They said that all chemotherapy programs are ineffective and have an unacceptable level of toxicity.

Wish us luck.

Must read books on Cancer

Allah has crossed our path with Mr R, a Chinese revert to Muslim through googling the words - 'B17 Laetrile'. He's a Professional Trainer/Consultant, blogger and his wife passed away last July after battling over colon cancer. Innalillah. Why was I searching for B17? Later I'll dedicate an entry for that insya-Allah.

But for this quick post, I strongly suggest every one on the universe to read these books below - cancer survivors, caretakers, and anyone interested in health and wellness. The first two was suggested by Mr R, the rest are written by Prof Chris Teo and I got/bought all these books from Puan Khadijah and hubby, Yeong at SS19 Subang Jaya. You may visit www.cacare.com for further info on herbal treatment on cancer. Even if your cancer marker is within range (yes, everyone has cancer cell in body, I've done my blood test to check the CA Marker and you can do the same too at any (paid) Lab), please educate yourself and family so that you're better informed, make and informed decision for yourself and family, lead a healthy lifestyle, avoid cancer-friendly food and Insya-Allah moga2 usaha kecil kita to know who cancer is before it strike us or our loved ones, nauzubillah will help us to make better decision in our everyday life, amin.

The author's blog is here.

When David Servan-Schreiber, a dedicated scientist and doctor, was diagnosed with brain cancer, his life changed. Confronting what medicine knows about the illness and the little-known workings of his body’s natural cancer-fighting capabilities, and marshaling his own will to live, Servan-Schreiber found himself on a fifteen-year journey from disease and relapse into scientific exploration and, finally, to health. Combining memoir, concise explanation of what makes cancer cells thrive and what inhibits them, and drawing on both conventional and alternative ways to slow and prevent cancer, Anticancer is revolutionary.

It is a moving story of a doctor’s inner and outer search for balance; radical in its discussion of the environment, lifestyle, and trauma; and compelling and cautionary in its proposal that cancer cells lie dormant in all of us—and that we all must care for the “terrain” in which they exist.

Advocating a sea change in the way we understand and confront cancer, Anticancer is a radical synthesis of science and personal experience, an inspiring personal journey, and certainly a guide to “a new way of life.”

Anticancer tells us:

  • Why the traditional Western diet creates the conditions for disease and how to develop a science-based anticancer diet
  • How and why sugar and stress feed cancer—and ways to achieve life balance and good nutrition to combat it
  • Why the effects of helplessness and unhealed wounds affect our ability to restore health
  • How to reap the benefits of exercise, yoga, and meditation
  • How to minimize environmental toxins
  • How to find the right blend of traditional and alternative health care

Mike Anderson, the author and Director of his very own DVD with the same tittle has shaken the world with hard facts on cancer. If you think you can swallow it, then get this book and read. Honestly, I can't stop reading it and my jaw keep on dropping to the floor. My Jaws' jaw also does the same. Please spare your time and read. Please educate yourself and don't simply put your life's fate on anyone in the hospital without knowing what is coming and the politics behind the white coat and stethoscope. Do you know that the drugs that you consume day in day out only help to relief symptom (short term), not actually treating the root cause of the symptom? Do you know that you have lots of alternative ways to treat your sickness without drugs? Iqra' ladies and gentlemen. Later I'll put up books that focusing on Perubatan Mengikut Sunnah insya-Allah.

I have to put the book on hold first because I need to finish the following book, "What you need to know...".

This book is highly recommended to all. It quotes many books and publications from MDs all around the world, it's like reading 50 books in one! The eye-opener chapters are on Pharmaceutical Drugs and Politics of Medicine. Must read. Must read. Even doctors/medical students too have to read this.

The rest below are still in queue. My new interest on Cancer Books may explain the needs of another Billy :-)

You can purchase these book from here.

Is Doctor a God?
No.

Knowledge is power!

Happy reading!

Weekend at the Zoo

At last, we finally stepped into the Zoo Negara after planning and postponing for many weeks!

Rasanya Mummy Abi yang terlebih excited to go to the Zoo. The Zoo is like 'monkey's feet' away from our home but it took ages for us to make the visit. I can't remember a thing about the zoo tho I must have visited the elephants and girrafes there for many many times during school holidays eons years ago.

We arrived around 10 am and among the earliest to arrive. Before that we stopped at ManjaKu and bought Nadirah a pair of shoes since her old one (given by Aunty Bugs) is too small for her chubby feet. Alhamdulillah, the weather was sunny. After buying the ticket, Abi and Nadirah greeted these two tiny snakes outside the zoo. Aksi berani betol. Jangan cuba di rumah anda tanpa pengawasan pegawai Zoo Negara.

Then we bought the Zoo map (RM2) and started planning our route. Since there'll be an animal show around 11 am at the Open Arena, we decided to walk around the area first so that we didn't miss the show. Among the animals that Nadirah saw were Hornbills, monkeys & co, rabbits, goats, pony, horse, deer, snakes, rhinocerous and bees museum.

15 minutes to 11, we were already seated in the Arena, happily waiting while eating ice-creams and buns. In no time, crowds started to grow and the seats were full before the show began.

The show kicked off with 2 emcees randomly picked kids and asked Qs, whoever got the answers right will be given lolipops. Nadirah many times put her arms up but they didn't layan her. Hey you thought this baby doesn't know how to talk yet ka? If you asked her how to roar, I think the Zoo will probably propose to this little cub to stay with the tigers in the cage ok. Afterall you just have 3 tigers at the moment, that is not enough for the coming Tiger year :p

Then the show started with a big red parrot naikkan national flag. Then followed by seals playing basketball, jumping up and down, clapping hands (flippers) and hmm that's it. Nadirah wasn't really paying attention to the show. She was busy looking at other babies and toddlers around and probably thinking of making new friends I guess.

Bile nak habis ni Abi?

After the show finished, it was getting hotter and hotter and we opted to take the tram instead of walking. Nadirah started grumpy and eating my tudung - a sign for milky time. Soon the tram started moving, nadirah has already snuggled in my arms and ready for lunch. Hoho. That's not a good sign! She's getting sleepy already! Abi took her from me and showed the girrafes and elephants but she was in no mood for animals and started cying. She wanted her meal and her after-lunch-nap too. We had to give in. Nadirah fell asleep seconds after nursing and left Mummy and Abi enjoying the rest of the sight-seeing. We stopped at Nadirah's best friends house - the tigers and lepak at gazebo nearby and ate my home cooked beehoon. Nadirah was then in LalaLand.

LalaLand

We then took the tram again and finished the tour. Basically Nadirah just saw quarter of the zoo so we'll be back again Tiger! Anyhow, we really enjoy the trip. It's like mesmerizing the bits and pieces of our childhood memory. The only thing I can remember about the Zoo was the sight of Abah and Epoi with elephants. When Epoi was tiny, he loves Ally-phants so much. I don't know why. Why eh Epoi?

Backbenches rock!

We'll come again Tiger!

Our Sunday didn't end just yet. Ikea van arrived later that afternoon with our 2nd Billy and Lerbergh that we bought the day before. Thanks to Lana the walking GPS for giving us the quickest direction to Ikea via DUKE-Penchala Link. Hehe. The rest of the day was spent arranging books on both Billy. Puas hati den!

Nadirah is 1!

*back-dated entry*

Alhamdulillah. Allah panjangkan umur Nadirah, Mummy and Abi to see this day! May Allah give us many more years in Iman and great health to be together, Aminnn.

Sorry Nadirah, Mummy is too busy and have no time to update you super duper fast development! *sigh* Seminggu berlalu, Nadirah becomes a brand new Nadirah. Then another week past, another new Nadirah. Phew!

Birthday celebration? We had a small celebration at Kuantan on Sunday morning. Mummy and Abi have decided not to have a smashing birthday bash and settled with a small one, just with Wan. Birthday cake? Haha. We bought at Pasar Tani luar Stadium kat bandar.

Nadirah, your one-year-old-milestone is very very important to Mummy and Abi. So important that we've come out with "Birthday Resolution" just a few days before your big day. Here is our "Birthday Resolution":

Nadirah sayang,

Birthday is about giving, not receiving. As we grow a year older, Allah has given us the opportunity to see another year in Iman, in good health, lots of rezeki, happy family and bountiful of nikmat Allah. Mummy and Abi want you to 'celebrate' each new year of your life by giving 10 times more of your age. Why 10? No reason. It's just a number.

So for your 1st birthday, Mummy took out RM10 from your tabung and give it too those who are less fortunate in Rantau Panjang. You were there right sayang when MP Ust Zailah walked us through the whole story of the constituent. How difficult they are to survive from day to day without enough income. Sayang, our apartment is not spacious, but we have everything in the this place we call home. People in Rantau Panjang, some don't even have a roof! Let alone a Slumberland bed to sleep on. There is one family live under the pieces of zink of their burned down house. Ya Allah, Alhamdulillah for everything you have given us. Alhamdulillah.

Nadirah, even when Mummy and Abi are not around anymore, please remember to donate everytime Allah give you another year to see 17th January ok? And of course throughout the year too. Moga Allah give you a great barakah year, with iman ilmu and taqwa. Amin.

Mummy loves you. :*

Where's my cake Mummy?

I want! I want! Leave me alone!

6. Nadirah has started walking a week before her birthday. In front of Abi. While Mummy was in the kitchen. Now she walks everywhere and I think she thinks she can run too. Tp kalau dy sgt amat tak sabar to reach anywhere faster, she'll crawl like a fast and furious tiger cub. Cepat sungguh masa berlalu. Gosh. I feel old.

6.1 The girl loves reading Al-Furqan. Mummy ajar dy, dy ajar Mummy balik. Aduh.
